FVTRS is conducting a social awareness campaign on skill training titled Skill Support Mission 2018, and the theme being Skilling Youth Building Nation. The campaign would serve to sensitize the public on the needs for skill training, as well as help to mobilize resources. Therefore the goal of Skill Support Mission is to mobilize resources and help partner organizations to be more self-reliant.

The major goals of the Skill Support Mission 2018 are

Awareness Creation

The campaign would primarily focus on creating and increasing awareness on the need for skill development among the communities, as well as support of society at large toward skilling of poor and marginalized youth.

Resource Mobilization

The increased awareness also increasesthe access for FVTRS and partner organizationsfor more diversified funds and therefore more and better services to more marginalized youth.

The Skill Support Mission 2018 was launched on 4th April 2018 at Hyderabad by our Board member Dr. Sr. Suman. Our partners from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana attended the programme along with their trainees. Other key dignitaries who graced the occasion included Mr. Anthony Reddy (ASHA), Mr. Veerabhadra Rao (SAMIDA), Mr. K Sreenivasalu (SEEDS), Mr. John (PDSSS) and Sr. Srujana (Society of St. Anne)

We have developed posters in English, Hindi and Kannada, and have distributed them to our partner organizations. Our partner organizations have in turn begun mobilizing funds through various activities. Thus far, the campaign has enabled the mobilization of resources to the tune of of Rs.1,10,850.
